Medserv is an Irish company that was established by Cormac Loughrey in 2005 and has rapidly grown to become one of the largest companies specialising in medical billing in Europe.
Our clients include hospital consultants of all specialties, GPs, clinics as well as hospitals. We have clients in all major hospitals throughout Ireland and the UK and links with all main health insurers as well as the HSE and NHS.
Given the sensitive nature of the information we process we have to be sure that we have all the necessary processes and checks in place when it comes to Data Protection and GDPR compliance.
We have been audited by the Data Protection Commission in Ireland and are voluntarily audited to test the robustness of our IT security systems. Protecting the sensitive information we receive is a primary focus for us at all times.

Cormac is an Engineer and MBA from Dublin. Upon graduating from UCD, Cormac began his career in regulated pharmaceutical industries as well as being involved in several start-ups prior to founding Medserv.
Cormac's family are very involved in the clinical side of healthcare, which is where the original concept to provide solutions and efficiencies for medical practitioners came about.
An engineer in his thinking, Cormac likes to push himself not only in business but also in his personal time and has completed several marathons and Ironman events both in Ireland and Internationally.
Cormac lives in Dublin and when he is not looking for his next race or thinking of new ways to improve his businesses, he spends time with his four young children; Joseph, Pippa, Theo and Patrick.
As our company has grown, so too has our team. We have assembled a dynamic group from differing backgrounds such as insurance, customer service, accounting and medicine, all of whom bring different strengths to the table.
Our in-house training programme ensures the continuous professional development of all staff members, keeping the team up to date with new technology and new procedures at all times.
